01/27 - Mando Motivation Monday

Sasha got a couple new toys last week - this hat that has 3 squeakers (2 on the side flaps and one in the middle) and this snowman that has treats you can stick into for the eyes and mouth (also head is detachable!)

She has grown really attached to the hat toy for some odd reason. Like she really loves this toy for some reason and is constantly bringing it over to show me. We got up this morning and I went to take her out and noticed this. Had me cracking up immediately because I don't think I've ever seen her do this

Wait until she becomes mobile. Oh and starts talking. Once they start talking they. never. stop.

 

You can accept the other two though... *sigh* But great survey and thankful for a requester who actually warns mental health patients before hitting them with stuff.

 

You can teach simple sign language at first but encourage babbling as it's good for verbal development. Babies understand you way before you realize it. Teach simple sign language so they can start expressing themselves and answering your questions earlier. We 100% plan on doing this if we have a kid.

BUT DONT STOP THE BABBLING! It's REALLY needed for verbal development. This is just a great way to get your kid to communicate with you easier at a younger age.

Accurate, tbh.

 

Shrieking is the current in vogue baby noise. Not crying, not upset, just shrieking because it's hilarious & daddy is a moron and taught her that it makes him laugh and so now it's a permanent staple in the daytime routine.

It's still pretty funny, though.

 

For real though, look into if you want to think about teaching them sign language. I'm 100% going to but you know to each his own on parenting style. Just something to be aware of!
