Dude, crime like that is such a foreign idea to me that I forget it's a real thing sometimes. Here we basically have drugs, and theft (but not like random breaking and entering, like people stealing from people they know). My friend lives in Topeka (the state capitol), which is only 2 hrs from me, and he will be like "man we had another shooting, that's the third one this month", meanwhile my town hasn't had a homicide in years :emoji_joy:

Its always totally OK to quote a post like that and re-ask the question. 9 times out of 10 no one who knew the answer saw the first post, very rarely (if ever) have I seen a question willingly ignored its almost always either no one knows the answer or its just lost in the hustle & bustle of the thread lol (this also makes Sat/Sunday a greatday to ask simple/silly questions since the thread moves slower, etc etc).

    ANYWAY...
The URLs are just a hacky way to get his script to work and have access to mturk's domain.

Ideally you'd just go to www.pandacrazy.com and have the script run, right? It'd be static, easy to remember, make sense, and be broken away from the whims of the mTurk dev team. But if you did that the script wouldn't be able to communicate (easily, effectively) with mTurk's data because of security stuff (google CORS if you wanna start down the path of why but in general its for security reasons Website A can't read data from Website B).

So its just the workaround most script writers have settled on as an easy way to get their stuff to run on mTurk. The next level from that is usually making an extension (MTS) since its a little more stable.

My block is mostly safe. A few blocks over can be a little hairy at nighttime. I've been here 5 years and I'm still not used to it, but I've accepted that it's a thing that happens around here and most of the violence is gang on gang.

Funny story...yellow jackets actually, not bees.

I was a freshman in high school at the time. My dad and I were driving through the Smokey Mountains and we stopped at a pull off to get out of the car for a bit. There was a trail leading into the wood and we could hear a stream in the distance. Into the forest we went. It was a short walk to the stream and we explored a bit. All at once, I started feeling "bites" all over my legs. I thought it was mosquitos for some reason. Thinking back on it, this following episode seemed to last for 10-15 minutes, but I'm sure it was over and done with quickly. Adrenaline can distort things. Looking down at my legs, I realized that I'm being swarmed by some angry yellow jackets. I must have stepped on the hole in the ground that was the entrance to the yellow jacket hive.

My dad must have started to be stung as well, because he just starts yelling "BEES! BEES! BEES!" and we take off running down the path. I'm leading the way and my dad is close on my heels, giving a running narrative of where he's getting stung. "They're in my shirt! Don't let them get trapped in your shirt. They'll sting more! Take your shirt off!" I didn't take my shirt off, I just kept trying to outrun the swarm. Probably a few seconds after my dad has removed his shirt, he starts yelling again. "Shorts! They stuck in my shorts! Don't let them get in your shorts. Take off your shorts!" I continue running.

At this point, I'm a young teenager running through the forest being followed by a pudgy middle aged man wearing no shirt, tighty whities, and socks pulled almost up to his knees. Rounding a bend in the trail and coming out into a clearing, there are two people walking my way down the trail. I stop when they ask me if I needed help. At this point, I guess the adrenaline started to wear off and I snapped out of the bee nightmare, because I realized the bees were gone. I tell them that "there were bees." To which they point at my dad and ask again if I need help. We explained the situation and they continued on their way.

The only outcomes of the episode were that I found out I'm not allergic to yellow jacket stings and that I have a funny story to tell about my dad. I wonder if those hikers remember what happened with the same fondness I do...

These feel a lot like the Child Speech Research hits where you had to say if a child was pronouncing their r's correctly except here you have a sliding scale from bad to good.
    Cons:
A little long and tedious but you could probably go a little faster than I did.
