My daily update hell- Nifty Split was working great, opened the second tab in the same window on the monitor I was working in and where I wanted it to open- get an update and now it opens the new tab in my other monitor instead of the same monitor. That is self defeating because I can open the other tab in my second monitor, I had Nifty Split to split the window I am working in. I want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every update in the last 6 months has not helped me at all just f'ked up what I had working fine and caused me problems. Why do people try to fix what isn't broken instead of creating something new, I will never understand.

I am starting to feel like Michael Douglas in that movie Falling Down...

My friend likes the movie so much he has personalized plates that say "D-FENS" I almost pissed myself when he pulled up in my driveway and I first saw them.

 

I managed to grab one of these but none of the videos worked..any ideas what the problem may have been?

 

I think around 180, with some racys mixed in. Up to 30 today.

Yeah, she's getting her butt kicked. She has had bone spurs in the back of her heels that have bothered her for years. Last year, on Jan 11th (our anniversary) she slipped on the ice in the parking lot at work. Spent the day in the hospital and left with a severe sprain. Ended up having to go through physical therapy for 6 months and it was still tender. Company paid for it all since it was there at work and in a place they should have cleared but didn't. She spent the entire year on 30-40 hour restriction. The company hasn't expanded their workforce for the past 9 years, just replaced those that have left (and there's been a lot). They kept taking on more work as well.

The company consists of injection, paint, assembly and shipping. Two of the four departments are M-F 12 hours, 8 on both Sat & Sun. The other 2 are on OT as needed, no notice of when. The latest trick is HOW they are handling the people on doctor restrictions. They are forcing them to go on FMLA. If they want you to work a 70 hour week and the doc says you can only do 40 then they take away 30 hours of your FMLA. Once that is gone they start taking your paid time off. Not sure any of it it legal, but that's what they are doing, still looking into it. Ohio is an 'at will' state so I think this violates federal law with the FMLA. It's certainly not the way it's intended to be used, as punishment. She's been there for 14 years, I've worked there 2 different times and wouldn't go back for any amount of money.

I am so sorry, I know nothing about any of this stuff (labor laws etc) but dear god if that's not illegal it definitely should be. FMLA at my company is so protected I have no idea how they can get away with any of that stuff. I definitely would be doing more research like you said and possibly contacting a lawyer down the road.
