Is there always halftime performances at the Pro Bowl? Haven't watched in a long time, don't remember what this is like but nothing else is on lol

I don't know, but the national anthem for the NHL ASG was one of the worst things I've ever seen. Even worse than when Jamie Fox added a couple hallelujahs to the end of it for the May-Mac fight.

 

Idk why hard hitting / physical sports bother w/ ASGs. The NBA's is at least entertaining because of all the natural athletic feats.. the end performance is fine without the defensive intensity since its just a glorified alley-oop contest lol. It at least resembles what you're used to seeing.. this is just weird.

ETA: this was mostly directed at football, I don't watch the NHL and realized your comment was purely about the anthem too late

 

I haven't watched a pro game of anything (except a few hockey games and going to a few white sox games) in years, but NBA seems to be the worst. Are teams still allowed to play defense or has that been outlawed yet?

 

The Pro Bowl is such a waste of time. No one even tries. The NHL game used to be pretty dumb, but now it's a 3v3 tournament, so it's kinda entertaining. Plus, they do that skills challenge the day before.

NFL needs to dump the bye week between the conference championships and SuperBowl. It was better before the hype week.

 

The last three shows I went to were Primus (Clutch), Queens of the Stone Age (Royal Blood), and Pallbearer, and next is Machine Head.

Ehh I'm fine w/ it, one week vs two doesn't make a huge difference but how crap would it be if Gronk was sitting out because he got his melon rocked the week before and we have to pretend like he's going to go through the protocol before playing IN THE SUPER BOWL?

 

I tried to go with clean football move and couldn't avoid once committing at full speed but dudes celebration after kind of killed that for me
