I didn't buy anything so I'm all good.

 

Kenmore used to be good. I still have my 17 year old Kenmore washer (going strong) and my at least 25 year old Kenmore dryer.

Not sure I'd buy another one from them, tho. I'm praying these don't die any time soon.

 

There's only like 2 OEM suppliers left, so everything is basically the same now. You just get a different brand name slapped on the front, but the parts all come from the same place.

 

all good here. real temp -6, windchill -6, so back to normal. i'm almost fully thawed, i'm no longer a jessicle. jack is back to going outside without his socks and scarf (but still waited for me to put them on him, lol). supposed to be 40s for the weekend, and 50 and rain on monday, then back to the 20s-30s. just another week in the midwest.

though, it's only freaking thursday? i would have put money on it being a sunday. this whole week has felt like a weekend, and not in a good way. i'm bored as hell. i've cleaned my house like 17 times, and it was clean to begin with.

Maytag or Amana if you are looking for no frills, gittr done washer/dryers. I buy those for my rentals since with a lack of features, comes a lack of things that can break down. I have a 20yr old maytag still going strong in one of my units. Inefficient as fuck im sure, but she works perfectly.
