As to the $4/hr payment for Black peoples' time, based on your experience, do you feel she's offering payment that is out of line with what MTurkers tend to get for doing surveys? Also, is the amount she's offering stated as part of her MTurk notice/survey/job description?

Our experience is that researchers are offering MTurkers pennies to as much as .50 to do a survey (and if per X amount of time, I haven't seen anything higher than about $2). And in my humble opinion, I think this is what MTurk is all about. It puts a whole new spin on "cheap labor", no matter who you are.

 

I've never gotten a rejection for an AC before, my rejections(the bulk) are usually some completion code anomaly, in fact I'm not even 100% sure I didn't pass the AC for which I was rejected, coz quite frankly as soon as I'm done with a survey, it's out of my mind, but I have no way of disproving the requester, if she said I didn't, I will just take the L and keep moving.
