    It's funny, I was cool with a romance between nine/rose but ten/rose were so clingy and stupid together. And he was always wishy washy about it, I want her here but I'll never do anything, I'll bring her ex on board to avoid the issue, I'll run off with Reinette, I'll send her off with my copy, anything to avoid admitting feelings.

    I feel bad for not liking Martha. She was a strong character, once she got over her crush. She was smart, she would call him out on things, She walked the world on her own during the Masters reign and saved the world basically by herself. And best of all, she knew when to walk away and she did it on her terms. I really want to like her, I just never could for some reason.

    I'm also not really a fan of River Song.

    I agree with absolutely everything you said until the last line :emoji_sob: The only thing that wrecks me from Rose and Tennant was the wall scene and the beach scene, those choke me up every time no matter how little I care about their relationship.

    I think Martha was mostly written to be useless. I hate that she pined for him for so long and it became such a soap opera about it, and yeah she became more independent towards the end of her time, but she just... like... wasn't... anything. It's like they knew they needed a Companion Lite to rebound from the Rose disaster then they realized "Oh, we have a character here, she can do stuff... Oh nevermind we wrote her into a corner and she can never really come into her own now. K shoo now."
