02/02 - Ferocious Friday!

I want alpacas! And fainting goats. And silkie chickens!

 

Donkeys are fun too. Or min ponies.

 

Oh we can't have donkeys. My husband will forever make Shrek quotes if we do.

 

I used to live the rich, white suburbs of Dallas and one day I'm riding my bike to work and what do I see? A llama. Some regular suburban type of guy, khaki shorts and a polo shirt and boat shoes, walking a llama.

 

I got home from errands one day (back when I lived on the Northshore in Louisiana) to find an emu in my yard. I ended up having to call a company called Critter Getters, and all they did was chase it around the yard and cornered it eventually, so it jumped the fence to the next door farm and got away. That was fun, in sleet and wind, with @dewdrop like 4 years old cackling like a hyena in the window, jumping on the sofa, watching us.
