I fully blame @ChrisTurk for my evolution on this view and all of his req shilling.

 

I got the qual back for one more try at these, but now I find myself returning the ones that have all or most endings that seem likely. Because the likelihood that I'll pick an AI ending is too high.

So maybe not worth it to keep working on. Taking too long now.

 

I made 5 cents mainly because I don't work on sundays but wanted to see if ProductRNRs have gotten any better (they haven't).

yep, the only way to work on them is to cherry pick the "easy" ones, which makes it so much worse. and you have to hope it's as straight-forward as it appears, and not like the one rdan mentioned that didn't sound naturally human at all. not to mention, it leaves him with a pile of unfinished data that everyone is too afraid to touch just because it's so strict yet so vague at the same time. it's lose-lose all around, unfortunately. i can only see this batch turning around if a good conscious effort is accepted and not threatened with a qual revoke, and/or a significant increase in pay. until then, underpaid surveys it is. at least i know i do those right.

I played a bunch with Jasper this morning, I'm awful at the game but if you don't mind me running around like a headless chicken, I'm down.

Yeah, I just tried one about a balance beam, and all answers were about the girl flipping around on it then jumping off, smiling at the camera, doing back bends, whatever. All things that could, and have been, done on a balance beam. Zero way to tell which one was the real ending.

So I returned it. And gave up.

The AI is obviously really good at making up endings and I can't always tell the difference (though, at times, I've done really well...) So I give up on them. Sad, as I really like these hits a lot and if, as you said, a conscious effort is accepted I'd do tons of them. But I get it if he's been scammed and has to find a way to weed out scammers. I just known I'm not one and it stung a little bit to see a qual revoke that maybe implied that I was "going too fast" and that was the reason I missed the real ones. My fastest time on them is 40 seconds! Most are over a minute. That is not too fast. And the 40 second ones are ones with short text. I'm 50. I been reading since I was 6. I'm good at that.

I'm so sick of underpaid surveys. Was nice for a minute to have something else to work on since I got caught up in that weird Sofia disqual and can't do those now (after almost never getting golds, one batch I got a couple and whammo....permaban on Mturk).

Fair enough. I've been playing games on my Xbox a lot more since I started turking a lot. It's a change of venue from my desk.
