I did one of these a while ago. I never got my bonus. I emailed them and they were like "ok dude whatever, we'll make you a makeup HIT - use your survey code from the initial HIT as the password." - or something stupid like that.

And I'm like, "dude, this was a few weeks ago. I don't remember my survey code."

And then they stopped responding to me.


I was an ad-writing allstar in the HIT too. I was a super-try-hard.

@Ezridax For whatever reason, I've really never been a fan of anything I had to mix with conditioner, tho I have 10, 20, and 40 vol developer in my cabinet cause I'm basically the mad chemist of hair colors! Copper Reds are basically impossible to come by unless you can mix a few pro dyes into the shade you want and I am a very exacting Grinch when it comes to my hair color. I ended up sticking with hair dyes I could do with developer when I went with purples and pinks and such, because it was more my comfort zone. I also had fun with more pastelly light shades of things, because half the time someone would be staring at me under a certain light with a confused look, like they weren't sure if my hair was light pink or if they were seeing shit.

Spoiler: I also tended towards lighter shades because I could get away with it at work!

It's not possible in SF. It's a peninsula, 7x7 sq miles and there is only so much space. And SF NEVER gets to 100 degrees (well, almost never) and it was above 100 that day and people were dropping like flies as half the City does not have air conditioning.

Now, if there was a plan, like, oh, say, going to the neighboring town? Two ways out of the City are across bridges. With horrid traffic. So that would have taken longer. And the third way is down toward San Jose, and you go through like podunk towns (sorry, Daly City) without a lot of hospitals, and getting there involves massive traffic that has nowhere to go even when there's a siren and lights.

So, since I wasn't dying at that exact moment because my airway stayed open, they drove around until a space opened up (e.g., someone with massive heat stroke was brought back from death's door and moved out of the ER into a room). As it was, I hung out in the hallway for a while.

Also, even if there was space, it took about 20 mins to get there through...wait for it...massive traffic.

tldr; do not get sick and need an ER in San Francisco if you can't walk there, which is faster than taking an ambulance.
