oh no! so I think what happened was that near the end of the last batch, there were a bunch of hard examples that people who were cherry picking were avoiding. To try to mitigate that affecting people's performance, when deciding when to lower people's quals I was using everyone's total history (since when they started working on the HITs). however, when I send out the feedback, that's just based on the current batch.

Also re: the above issue, if your qual got lowered recently but you've been working on my HITs for a while, feel free to message me and I'll see what I can do about it I should also probably post a new qual soon...

Hey Rowan. We all really appreciate you, and you're a great communicative requester.

But one thing - I feel sometimes you really care about getting everyone qualed - and giving a lot of second chances and stuff. I want to say that you shouldn't feel an obligation to do that. If it makes your data worse, or makes your job more difficult - don't be afraid of just keeping a smaller group of more trusted workers.

As long as you get the data you need, and the work gets done at a reasonable pace of course

 

The ones near the end of the batch were definitely harder and had weirder endings. I still got best/second best 75% of the time and the real ending 85% of the time but I think that's only because I did so many and started to get a hang of how the AI was generating answers.
