Ugh. You're NOT supposed to take that as a compliment @dan What are we going to do with you?

 

Doc is putting my on Lasix and sending me to get fitted for compression socks instead of the over the counter ones I've been using. Which is all fine and good but as usual when I want answers to why my leg is so swollen for going on 4 years now all I ever hear is lose weight. While I know I need to lose weigh (gained about 50 since my car accident) that is not the supreme answer to every medical problem. Only one of my legs is swollen it just happens to be the one I utterly shattered it wasn't swollen before the accident and has been swollen every single day since with absolutely no relief but there could not possibly be some underlying reason that it is swollen, must be that extra 50 pounds that I gained that is making one of my legs swell so bad it can't even hold all the fluid anymore.

Sorry rant over just frustrated cause docs fail to consider that if they figured out what was going on with my leg and back maybe I could walk and you know lose that weight their so concerned about.

Tip to all the doctors out there you can be over weight and have other medical issues not caused by that weight.
