Are we able to redo this if we didn’t get it the first time?

 

differing pay based solely on the score given on a qual test is, imo, bad taste.

Hopefully some other way could be found to use task success as a means of assigning/raising qual score.

If that offer for the one-time retake is still on the table, throwing that message somewhere in the hits would be appreciated

I'd say outside of surveys far more than that. But I can't think of a requester who has built the air of employer-employee relationship nearly as much as VRAPI has (even if half of it is just wishful thinking on workers part).

Eventually that game will come to an end one way or another.

 

I feel like if you failed it the first time you probably wouldn't pass it the second go around either. Or if you did poorly you should just get a score low enough to not do the actual hits so as to be excluded without being blocked or rejected.

 

@dan that was a bit of an experiment (different pay rates, different qualifier scores) -- that will not be the case for the coming batches. If we have further batches where we require higher skill level, we will base that on your HIT performance, not your initial Qualifier score.

 

That is a step up from toxic sludge.

Well, I've learned how to cherry pick. I don't bother with the old listings and just look for the new ones which get mixed in. It's kinda of funny, that there are 700 day old listings and 0 day old listings mixed together, but with the same pay. I spend no more than a couple of minutes before I return it. I got tired of wasting my time.

 

I definitely just returned a .50 and locked myself out of a $3.00
