I was having this "hugely intellectual" debate (lol) and I wanted to see what you fine humans think. Do you consider the weekend to be Saturday and Sunday or Friday night, Saturday and Sunday?

Obviously the dictionary definitions (the one's we looked at anyways) say Saturday and Sunday, but the debate is about what people consider to be the weekend. And obviously a lot of people with nontraditional work schedules may consider their personal weekend to be Tuesday or Wednesday or something like that. But for the sake of this debate, please focus on Saturday and Sunday or Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Thanks!

When I was a heavy weekend drinker, my weekends were Friday night through Sunday sundown.

 

Do you still consider that the weekend, or is it now Saturday and Sunday because you are no longer a heavy weekend drinker?

I would say Saturday and Sunday now, because S and I still go to bed at like 930 and get up at 530 on the weekends.
