This fan was INSIDE the power supply, I would have had to take it apart, which I won't do. I can replace case fans.

And I went with whatever this computer guy had.

This computer is a cheaper pre built gaming one my kid bought when he was 12. I'm sure the PSU that had the flakey fan was a cheap POS.

 

it's a 10 minute job, it's worth the sale usually.

I gotta get my recompense for all of the spoon-feeding and clout-chasing I've done w/ @ThisPoorGuy

LOL. Oh I know. Those PSU fans are the same fans and same connectors youd find attached to the side of your case. You just need to be very careful since the capacitors can kill you. No biggie, but its still super easy to do. I sure hope you didnt pay a guy to install the new PSU!
