We were projected to get 13-16 inches of snow yesterday and today. Then it was downgraded to 3-6, then 1-3, then 0.5 which is what we got. This winter is d r a g g i n g (mostly mentally/SAD though) and I have to remind myself it's only February, and I have another 3 months of this in the midwest.

I usually do that too, but this year I'm trying seeds for funsies. I figure if it doesn't work, I can always buy the pre-started ones like usual. 6 for $3 is a damn good deal though!

 

Here in the south, it feels like our winters get milder every year. You should totally move further south. It's nice, I swear.

I wish we got winter during winter. It was one of the warmest winters ever, then we get to February and it starts snowing, hailing, goes up to 70, then snows again, then 70 again, then freezing rain, then 70, then it's 40. I just want the weather to make up it's mind.

 

Oh yeah, this has been a super mild winter for us, so it's definitely just a mental thing for me this year. But omw! I love winters and cold and snow, but longer gardening time sounds awesome.

I should probably get some seeds going. I do have some miniature pumpkin sprouts though, because I put a mini pumpkin in the worm bin and the seeds sprouted. I also have a mystery seedling that I pulled from the bin. Just a seed with a tap root so far. I think it's a tomato but not sure
