@TimmyT I just wanna add my 2 cents. I work part-time retail and do MTurk/Freelance to pick up the slack, as currently that's what works best for me mentally.

My previous job I was working 50+ hours on salary so I only made X-amount per week no matter how much I worked, and while the money was decent the stress and burnout was intense, and it took the pandemic for me to finally say I was done. Yes, I took a pay cut and money can be a bit tight at times, but I'm happier now than I was.

My mum works part-time at Walmart and has been there for a long, LONG time. I'll say that they do pay well, she's constantly getting bonuses and whatnot, but that's how they trap you. You wind up making so much that to go anywhere else you take a significant pay cut. Some days she wishes she could work anywhere else, but the pay's too good to quit. She hates the customers but really enjoys working with her work friends.

Also to note: many full-timers often get transferred to other stores, so that might be an issue?

All in all its your choice to make, and I hope whatever you pick works out!
