That's lucky! Rents went up way more around here. Sadly, I'm the landlord who had to raise rents. We didn't do many increases during the worst of the pandemic and expenses for owners have gone WWWWAAAAAYYYYYY up (e.g. a new water heater is now about 1800 where it was like 1200 before, and lumber is sky high). So we had to raise a bit more this year. I felt so bad. I hate that part of being a landlord. Most long term tenants are still super under market value though. We don't jack rents up to market value for in place tenants.

 

Cheezits! That's a lot of emails for that much money.
