Has anyone ever broke a Noah Turk hit midway through? LIke I'm stuck on a screen with "waiting for the next person to speak" with only 2 statements to make. am I hosed?

 

See I've tried this.....he'll sit at the school till 9 at night if you don't get him, then flip the "oh you don't want me to work" card in your face, it's really frustrating. A month ago I didn't go to a CTC competition they had because it was 2 hours away, he acted like we were dicks and not supportive so there's really no getting through to him.

In his world he comes first and nothing changes that. I told him right now your track stuff doesn't really matter with everything that is going on and he basically was like "Im not gonna not do it" and argued, he does not give 2 shits what me or his mom think about anything.

So, it seems like there are boundary issues here. And that frankly, he needs to learn some responsibility. One of the things about a job is finding transport back and forth. That's why I cut firewood for my grandfather instead of a straight job when I was younger. Also, why I only played one sport, because dad made that rule and stuck to it. And yeah, I thought he was a dickbag for it at the time, but it was the right call.

Sometimes being a dick is the best call. And learning the consequences of shitass behavior at his age is a lot better than in a couple years when he comes of age and there are consequences other than 'dad's being a cockmonger.'

If I could justify it, I'd get an additional numpad because omg awesome. Like to the point when I have to do strings that have numbers and letters my right hand moves from the home keys to the numpad to input the number part. it used to drive my boss nuts when I would type a legal description of real estate, because apparently the way I typed N 35 deg 25 min 33sec W 440.5 feet to a pin made him kind of ill. When I rekeyed the NumPadSlash, NumLock, and NumPadPlus to be deg, min, and sec he nearly shit himself.

I miss that ash hole. <rip dad>
