If I knew I could get away with that when I was like three, I definitely would've.

 

This is good information to have. I have to check and see if it stopped being illegal in California to own ferrets. Maybe I'll get one. My high school boyfriend's family had them and I loved the ferrets.

My cats go after all rodents so I'd be a little worried one would become a meal, but ferrets can fight back so....maybe it would be fine!

 

Ferrets aren't rodents.

I think cat law states that anything smaller than a cat that moves quickly is, in fact, a rodent

I am aware, but they are of rodent (rat like) size, and look rodenty to a cat I'm thinking.

They're weasely not rodenty to my eyes, but I can see how a cat would confuse a small creature like that.

Moot point though as they're still illegal in my state

My cats go after opossums and raccoons that get into our yards and so did my dog, so any creature like that is at risk on our property!

 

I know someone with cat snakes. They love the shit out of tubes.

 

Pretty sure a raccoon can beat up a cat.

 

MySkinKit sounds like something Buffalo Bill would sell... or use... I'm not quite sure.

 

...As someone with pet rats and ferret...I'm concerned about the rodent size in your state.

Rats are effing huge (wild ones).

And the only ferrets I've seen were illegal ones smuggled into California so...maybe they were a smaller size?

They were a big longer than some rats, but many of the rats are fatter and longer when tail taken into account. Rats are humongous here.
