You can request a manual refund and get the same reported success rate as workers asking for a manual rejection review or profile qual change.

There really is very little incentive to come to mturk for "free" data, barring credit card fraud, which is why those HITs are banned here now.



Speaking more directly to the requester from earlier, it seems hilarious to me people on TO choose to believe this guy came to mturk with the specific intention of "stealing data" and yet he put his personal e-mail which even the most brain dead vegetable google search leads directly to his Facebook, personal phone #, resume, and college transcripts all of which he proudly displays online because hes not a fucking scammer he just has no clue how mturk works just like the rest of us.

 

This reminded me of that episode of Animaniacs when they are Mr. Plotz's secretary for a day and tear the building down because of their shenanigans.

 

I think that's what they're capping on these days.
