Pros:
didn't take 40 minutes - as it stated it might.
hourly wage isn't terrible

Cons:
Holy cow was that tedious.
-felt it would never end
-no progress bar whatseoever
-incredibly repetitive.
-Requires typing a bunch of adjectives that describe certain groups
-an awful time.

Pros:
Mindless typing of mostly single words. If you know how to type well, this can end up being a good one while watching TV.

Cons:
Seriously underpaid on an hourly basis like all the rest have said. Almost a third to half the time for a HIT is spent on the image loads.

To those having this as an issue. Open a second tab and work on two streams of HITS. Finish one and jump to the other and back. This allows you to effectively remove up to 20 seconds of waiting on each HIT during the load process.

My kid's school LARP'd this game. We had to make (smaller) covered wagons, dress authentically, bring only food for lunch that they would eat back then, the works.

I figured I would get some poisoning because we didn't have "streams" to keep our "lunch pails" cool in or any of the sort.

I ended up freezing water in tin cans and that's what we drank from later.

Probably got lead poisoning or something from one day of LARPing Oregon Trail.

I need to find a way to get near that goal but with all the appointments lately, I can't ..it is supposed to slow down after next monday (for 2 whole weeks!) so I am going to buckle down then and at least shoot for $50 on here and $50+ on appen..it is odd because for 17 years the kid hasn't had as much as 1 doctor check up, 1 sick time a year and 2 dental appointments, but now I am doing 2 appointments a week at least between dr's (I guess it could be worse but not used to it).

It actually was fun.

Ended with the kiddos doing legitimate square dancing, with a fiddle and a caller and the works. One of the teacher's parents own a covered wagon and horses and those are still legal on the road, so we got to ride in a real one along the streets of our town. Should have seen the looks we got...in a covered wagon dressed like Little House on the Prairie.

 

Did you die of dysentery and yellow fever?

 

And did you hire an indian to take your wagon across the river???

 

I actually lived! But half our wagon train died horrible, gross deaths.
