Just talked to my teen about our earlier dipping convo. At first he was all “No. Mom, no! Don’t talk about this!” But THEN because he knew it originated with a true story and had already heard some of the jokes from here, he couldn’t stop laughing so we talked more. I'm only a few eps in, but I'm really enjoying it so far. It was recommended by @rdaneel , who might be able to shed some more light.

 

I watched Seagull play Anthem and I can safely say it's one of the worst games I've actually bothered to acquaint myself with which is why I'm just going to go back to wingkeeper wraith legends.

Its weird because the one unanimous thing about the game even among the people that absolutely shit on it on Reddit, is that its fun as fuck to play, there's just too many underlying issues that cause you to not want to play it once you have your character fully masterworked.

Loot is terrible, Loot doesn't drop enough in higher difficulties, The Free Play system is a huge area and they don't let you mark shit on the map, Only 4 people in free roam space at a time, There's no fucking stat screen for your stats, Half the stats don't even work, Quickplay is broken and sends you into uncompleteable missions, when you die you're stuck on a respawn screen and cant access any menus until you've been rez'd

Even with all these bad things, its fun to play, there's just no reason to play it once you get to the end game.

Its a shame, maybe in 5-6 months it will be better but I'll be long gone by then.

 

It's awesome. If you can't trust an indepth look at money laundering and global economics from a guy who snorted coke off hookers' asses with Neil Patrick Harris and satiated their hunger at White Castle shortly thereafter, then really, who can you?

I learned a lot of stuff; for example, I never really thought about rubber before.

Unanimous is in episode 4, and it's not just a brief mention, but a large part of the segment. I'm surprised they're OK being featured in a series that's so focused on dicks (to the point an earlier episode spends a lot of time in a sex toy factory in China), but considering the swarm coming on Saturday where @MyLegIsFine only loves half the socialist scum here our community, perhaps it's not too unexpected.

I like that they showed all the women being cool with killing the young boy.

There're also giant robots wrecking shit in the same episode. If you like documentaries, and money, and documentaries about money, and have a Prime sub anyway, you should watch it.
