Meh, not really any more messy than the total destruction they cause without 2 scratchers and a full on tree to fuck around with? It's in its little corner, where the dogs hang out. I already have to sweep every 2-3 days, and it's not in a walking path, so it's been super low maintenance. Bearnie likes to perch on top and admire his kingdom.

 

I couldn't bring myself to do it. My wrist is suffering enough as is

 

We also have the original wooden prop from Matt's grandpa's piper cub on the mantle. I wrapped tinsel around it and we've kept it that way for extra tacky amazingness. Random wood decor, yeah!

Alright, one last Grinching before I turn this shit off for Stephen Colbert. Why does every single solitary survey treat me like I'm fat? No offense to any of those out there that may have weight problems, but why do they assume we're all trying to lose weight? I'm quite fine with my weight and have been all my life.
