Looks like it's only $25 to fix, so I got lucky. In the mean time I have one of those mobile car jumpers. I just have to unplug it everytime I want to do a load to hook up the wires. Or, I could just not wash my underwear for a couple days.

 

I was working 12 hour shifts by six days up north at a refinery. I owned 14 pair of drawers, so I could just drop my laundry off at the "by weight" place in town every two weeks or so.

 

My engineering is electric(al).

That's maybe the worse pun I've ever thought of, but I can't pass up a chance to use my major for once.

I went maybe two years without doing laundry when I was in grad school. I just gave the cleaners everything. It was 0.26/lb back then IIRC. They even folded it all up and put it in brown paper and tied it with twine. I felt so fancy.

I don't know, I don't see "stealing users' passwords is not allowed" anywhere in TOS.

 

I work with a bunch of electrical engineers. Funnily enough, I think probably more of them have degrees in civil or mechanical, but somehow wound up working in the largest scale electrical engineering that exists.

My grandfather was published in mechanical. I didn't know that until after he died and we were cleaning out his house. He published the answer to some sort of transmission issue.
