This ethics department is completely useless. Why are Canadians paying for it?

"The Crazy Logic One University Used To Deny My Ethics Complaint" I like this one somewhat. It has a nice clickbait feeling to it. I now want to know about the "crazy logic".

 

It actually fits.

Them: "That's not conflict of interest, [redacted] didn't profit from it"
Me: "That's not the definition of conflict of interest in the document you sent me. It specifically says profit isn't necessary"
Them: "..[redacted] actually isn't at our Uni, we can't make a judgement"
Me: "But you just did. And the FUNDING is from your University"

 

I glanced at this one, and, for a split second, I misread "the crazy hacks" as the crazy hicks.

Waterloo's Ethics are worse than Laurier's football team when they play Western

ohhhh shit, local knowledge burn. You won't get it, but you'll never see 20,000 software engineering majors get pissed faster than that

 

I actually browsed /r/Waterloo the other day doing research.. they are strangely obsessed with some teacher in a way I don't quite understand but find fascinating nonetheless.

 

Also, everyone should go do it. Some dude literally got a goose tattoo'd on his ass, which may be the most Canadian thing I've ever seen

 

You have to put a Canadian spin on it to get them to pay attention to it.

Listen, anytime I visited Waterloo, I was one of the coolest people there. That's all you need to know about that school.

 

I filed a complaint with Waterloo’s ethics department and all I got was this lousy t-shirt made by hand by turkers for $.97/hour

I actually gave that human shit stain his own special usergroup that just shows an almost completely blank page when he loads the site.

It's funny because he 100% logged into the site at the conference he was presenting his paper at. A small part of me hopes it was during his presentation so he at least looked like a jackass.
