    One more- hopefully it works this time- but does anyone have an idea of why I couldn't do it last time when I got the message that I could not connect because maybe I was behind a firewall or a secure VPN? Any idea of something to check?

    Not sure if related but... I had a connection issue for a bit but I think you just need a stable connection. If you got less than 50MB for a connection, I'd say try not to use up your bandwidth with streaming or video games at the same time as the swarm. I upgraded my ethernet port to utilize my entire 250MB connection and the swarm problems stopped for me.

    But anyways you don't need a fast connect but a stable one. Even a 1mbps is prob enough for UNU going by how much data it is using. Now your wifi connection could have other issues. but it isn't a lack of speed most likely.

    That is way more than enough speed. You are having other network issues. Perhaps you need to disable your VPN or something.

    I'm in a swarm, so slower to respond right now. But I know for sure there's a guy who has talked about having trouble connecting when he's on campus. So, it does have to do with the setup in some way, but I think it can be troubleshooted.

    In terms of internet speed though, I've connected many many times with a slower speed. As long as it's "high speed" you should be good. If it seems choppy, you just reload the page and it should be fine.

    Yeah I meant because I always have a lot of devices connected as well. Wifi sharing with other people could cause an issue. Xboxes like take priority over other shit if you're playing multiplayer or downloading a large game. I haven't had an issue now that I'm plugged directly into the router now though. People still use wifi heavily though.
