137 friggen dollars just to neuter my feral streetcat, today. 284 for the spay last week (we don't have any low cost spay/neuter anywhere near us and I'm not having my garage cats contribute to the feral populace, ya know? My other option was to wait another month and drive 90 miles ONE WAY and then pick up the next day, not really worth the 90 bucks less).

You can bet your sweet ass I ain't sharing my bonus monies! I GOTS FERAL CATS TO CARE FOR!

To be fair, they have a voucher I could have used to make it cheaper, but it comes from donations and I felt like there are people who need that more than I do.
