Kids had school today to pick up their learning packets and what not. A fifth grader who is normally level headed and calm rolls up to the bus stop and says "guess what I learned yesterday? Kids can't get the coronavirus. So we're safe" I have never in my life shut down such bullshit quicker than I did that. We have spent a lot of time calmly explaining what's going on to my son I'll be damned if some kid's going to undo that in ten seconds.
