Thanks! Don't want to get too personal or stalky, just find it intriguing. I grew up in a smallish, fairly rural town in New Zealand, but we still had a small grocery store that was a 15 minute drive away. In the U.S. I've always lived on the east coast, again with plenty of supermarkets in easy reach. So it's just interesting for me to learn about how people cope, logistically, with the big distances and remoteness.

Not at all concerned about "stalking." We used to have a small market here, but it closed about three years ago: it was really nice to have purchasable beer near by. Another tidbit: I live in an "other side of the tracks" manufactured-home park and we have to have our drinking water trucked in.

Have never been to NZ but hear it is **astoundingly** pretty.
