I do not refresh my delivery web page to see if my package is coming, I watch them, call them, threaten them.

mine don't listen to my delivery instructions when they are explicitly told to leave it at the front door.

 

It is not that they can't but they just don't care.

 

Drivers are free to choose to leave it at the front door or not even they are told so. (for some security reasons)

I did a search for plastic bags the other day. Could not find what I want, I'm going to have to go to a dollar store for them (gallon size cheap ass ones with a twist tie, no zipper, so I can use them for shake n bake stuff and not feel as guilty throwing them away).

Now I get ads for plastic bags all the time. I didn't even buy any.

I also have random recommendations because of links I've clicked from here. But I keep clicking them just to mess with their intrusive algorithms.

You can just turn search history off. Or disable items that you don't want influencing their algorithms. It's not intrusive if you agree to it and most of it can be turned off.

Did not know you could turn it off, and it feels a wee bit intrusive when it also shows up in other places, not just Amazon.

But I will now search that out and turn it off. It's useless to me.

 

Might I also recommend using search engines that don't track you (e.g. DuckDuckGo) and proper ad blockers (e.g. ublock origin)

 

I would suggest running a bot to to spoil your data. Useless data for google protects you more than no data.

 

Yeah, not that worried about it. I do have ad blockers installed on certain browsers but not the one I use for turking.

Just find the constant ads for one random item that pop up in all sorts of places a bit annoying. That was it.
