I'm gumby eating it no matter how it turns out. I just might have to eat it with a fork.

 

We have places that make tortillas locally with drive thru windows, so I'm pretty sure we're good. I usually go inside because it's a full on Mexican bakery and I like getting a champurrado with some empanadas, but I guess I'll make do.

 

If you must then use this recipe

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 TEASPOON baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup soft butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar (or just 1 whole cup of white sugar)
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix dry ingredients
mix butter and sugar together
add pb to sugar mixture and then blend in egg and vanilla
Mix sugar mixture to dry ingredients
then scoop, smush and bake at 350 for about 10 minutes

But this is just more work than the easy ones

ugh, that sounds delicious.

we have a few trunk tamale guys, but only one tortilla guy that i know of. his face is fully tatted, so once he went live on facebook on the local page to say he gets discriminated against but wanted people to know he was safe and friendly, and hosted an impromptu AMA on there. since then, his tortillas have turned into a whole thing in my city. right now he's backlogged with orders because he can't keep up, which is really awesome tbh. with demographics like that here, there's a lot of racism, so it's nice to see people realize other ethnicities and cultures are also people
