It isn't that easy if you don't have a HIT of theirs in queue.

But still something about it trips me up.....sucks cuz the PC button is a key feature

 

I think you can send them a message by clicking the "Contact Requester" button on their TurkView ppage

 

So I guess we just sit here and let these hits expire?

 

Or click the link in TV.
Or click the button from an updated export.
Or click the button on one of your completed hits.

 

Maybe Brian will hit the expire all lockouts button after he watches Silicon Valley.

Fun bit of trivia, but those are what you don't want to miss if you don't want to get blocked.

What's weird is that exact link when requested within the hit gives an empty response, but going manually provides the proper response. I'm not smart enough to figure out why, but if anyone was curious about the technical reason the BZs are borked, there you are. Request isn't a 503

I didn't say there aren't ways to contact a requester. I said it isn't as easy as when you have one of their HITs in your queue. No need to be a smartass.

 

I'm not sure how that isn't as easy and I'm pretty sure the hits in queue contact was a script anyways.

 

for some reason for the past few weeks, clicking on "contact requester" just reloads the hit....no idea what's borked there. I did find the link in TV, and it still says "Strange....something went wrong" after you submit the message

 

Ok Brian fine I get the message, I'll see you tomorrow morning.
