Brian Z - how do you answer if you can tell it's a person doing the action, but you never actually see any part of a person's body? Maybe I'm taking this too literally, but if I can't see an actual person part (hand, foot, whatever) for at least a tiny part of the video then I'm not sure it counts as "seeing a human performing this action".

 

I usually put purple.

 

That's what I do too with the exception being the puppets

 

I hope playing with a fidget spinner is not considered fidgeting.

I think that those are the ones that they are interested in seeing how people react/feel about. In all studies they are trying to find something, the A/C are there to see if people are just clicking on buttons without care.

 

I always put unsure for those. To the best of my knowledge, they haven't added "playing with fidget spinner" as part of the definition to fidgeting but who actually knows?

agreed. @SirKiwiTheBrave - at the end of the day these videos are used to train an AI to identify actions on it's own (Deep Think). So I take it super literally because I want the robot to learn properly. If it's "wearing socks" and the camera is panning from the feet to the face, it gets a thumbs up and then a "no" for "is it constant". Do I think she takes her socks off and puts them back on while the camera is on her face? Hell, no, but if I want the machine to be super literal, so I'm saying "if I don't see it, I can't know it's happening".
