That makes sense. I haven't figured out how to judge what's a good HIT yet, so I should probably do a bit of that too for experience.

 

If I did every single HIT, including the mediocre ones that pay like 6 dollars an hour, I'd probably end up trying to drown myself in the toilet within 6 hours.

 

This is the real key.. all the people I know who actually make good money on mTurk (@Jesicu ) just nut the "duck" up and work. Lol.

 

I don't use it to find HITs. I use them to check and PANDA. A lot of people said it's better to use PandaCrazy, but I haven't had time to go over it and get through the learning curve yet.

 

No, its to only find work through HN. THis is why you are a lowly turker.

If you added a requester to TM, then you are using it to find work.

 

Basically is my method " Bills paid yet? .... Nope " keep hammin Breligs till rent is covered

 

Then again, I'm stubborn. I don't use HN.

 

In the last week, I've learned to use MTS, OW, and Crazy. Any suggestions on what to change out?

 

I stopped using HN when @ChrisTurk added the desktop notifications here...it's usually busy enough here to not need or have time to keep up with what MTC is flooding HN with

 

Might be done unless something drops later on.

I'm always late to the parties. I haven't really used MTS yet. Still stuck on HF.

 

Perhaps some day the turkerhub qual will be worth mad dough after CT wins the lottery or something.

Part of your problem might be because of the scripts that you are using.

The current scripts that I suggest for the 'main' ones not hit specific are

Hit Finder (MTS): Find hits and also has an include list for good requesters

Overwatch: You can use this instead of Hit Finder's include list.. I like it better still but honestly using Hit FInder alone is the the most optimal route

Panda Crazy: This is the current pandaing script that most people use.. it is great and works much better then TM imho

Hit Catcher (Beta) (MTS): Don't worry about this one yet. but it will likely be a good option instead of Panda Crazy soon once it is actually finished

HF is included in MTS.. But the one you are using is outdated af .. you should go install MTS and check it out

 

I was resistant too but now I don't know how I lived WITHOUT MTS.

 

HF is part of MTS, the userscript is OOOOOOLD.

Umm, can you get your users here to stop spamming HITs from the same requester and just link the requester page.
