Oh, you're basically starting out as a brand new Turker.

Nothing "dropped out" but you have to actually work, and work seriously, to make money. It's become a very competitive work platform. Any old workflows you had are long gone as viable options.

Forker/PC are the two scripts you can install and be good to go with. Or MTS' catcher/finder. Everything else is optional if you need to keep it lightweight I'd drop opening forums before those two scripts.

The only time you should see MTurk's actual website is when you're submitting a HIT lol.

Actually from 5yrs ago it is probably objectively worse, but it's not impossible to do okay

lmao yea, that's why it's probably worse since you could have been a relatively lazy shit and just been filthy rich 5yrs ago w/ the tools we use now

but still, you can do alright w/ some intelligent design & fighting the laziness at least a little

You also have to have some good motivation. I've got like $4 sittin in my que atm and I just don't know... might do it might not lol

 

I've prob returned like $150 worth of shit today because I just haven't been feeling it.

 

That's pretty low in the foodchain in my house, although I have considered figuring out how to turk on my PS4. And the 11" 3lb potato travels with me a lot easier than my 17" 8lb gaming monolith I used to run with all the AHK and chrome scripts and goodies. Gotta consider I'm away from home and who knows where doing what for 48-86 hours a week for my day job.

 

So much writing. Today was like if I hit just give us 2 sentences... even if its like $6 I'm like nope.

 

Honestly I think I despise writing because as a person I am very dull and boring. I'm not creative at all and it must be terrible for these requesters to read some of the shit I come up with heh
