    We weren't divorced then either. From what I understand, married filing separately is literally only filing separately - not because you're separated, but because you're married and together but don't want to file together because of garnishment or other issues.

    It wouldn't hurt to check with your divorce lawyer or a tax dude. I'm sure someone at H&R block or something would answer it if you ask!

    We filed together when seperated because ... it was just easier at the time lol.

    This guy has a pic of him standing in front of his Cessna 172 with his VRAPI listing and I'm thinking, bruh...you best not be evading taxes when you own a plane that runs 200-300k easily.

    Absolutely do. I know you have more options because you can't be expected to have all the info on someone you are no longer with.

    My mom's a CPA and did my taxes and the way we did it seemed like the standard way to go, but every case is different.

    I would, but divorce lawyer costs money and I don't want to spend all my hard earned quarters from Brian Z last week :emoji_joy: She moved out of the country with another person, so definitely not easier for me and I don't know if she is even filing her taxes and I just don't want to contact her if I don't have to :emoji_rolling_eyes:

    What are vrapis? I tried searching "VRAPI" "api" with qualified unchecked on the mturk site and nothing came up.
