if I remember correctly I preemptively made a payments account before I was accepted and it caused some bullshit, I attempted to fix the issue by calling in and they said that I needed to fax them personal info but by then I was denied from Mturk so I dropped it. Months later I got accepted into mturk so I called again through the main amazon line then getting redirected to amazon pay and I was able to get someone on the line that raised the issue to higher tier tech support on their end and it was fixed in 5ish days.

 

In that case just prep for the gauntlet of identity verification & be very persistent, polite, & patient LOL.

 

I had an issue verifying my account so I had to call them in order to resolve the issue.
