You mentioned earlier that something was done years ago. What were you referring to? In the image presented, the date shows March 28, 2017. Is the image from the current period or is it from a period years ago?

Amazon Pay (formerly Payments) does not charge any fees for withdrawal, regardless of banking institution, according to their FAQs. Bluebird's fee schedule also does not charge for direct deposit (Amazon Pay uses ACH, which is direct deposit).

I'm starting to think they are doing something then at Amazon without giving any notice again ffs.... Someone said in here earlier about payments being "broken" for people yesterday for their withdraws and such so I wonder if they are now doing a verification on hold $1 charge when we make a request for our money.

But in my case that doesn't even make sense because I haven't requested $ I have only sent it from Turk to payments....I only withdraw to my card on Sunday

 

I don't mean the initial setup they do to ensure that you've added a new, valid account for withdrawal.

While I only know of this in a merchant-buyer relationship, it could transfer over to the situation we have here as turkers, as follows:

I. When a charge is attempted (here, deposit), a merchant may:

a. issue a request for settlement for an amount different from what the final amount will be
b. send a sort of probe to ensure the data received checks out (cardholder name, number, and security code)

Additionally, I believe some companies do a periodic check to ensure cards/accounts listed remain valid.

As you've shown us, you have two (2) holds of $1.00 each on March 28 and March 29 of 2017. Do you have any additional similar holds recently? When have you attempted to withdraw from Amazon Pay in the past seven (7) days?
