    My sister was terrified of Santa. She did not summon the courage to go up to him until my mom was preggerz with me. She cried a little bit, but managed to ask Santa for a baby brother. He told her, "sure!" for some stupid fucking reason. Welp, she was SO MAD that I was a girl that she held onto the rage for 5 months and volunteered to go see Santa again the next year, making my parents think she was over her fear. NOPE! She went cage fighter on Santa's ass, who had no idea that another Santa got him into this mess by promising I would turn out to be a boy.

    There's just one version of the HIT. If you discussed this HIT with other Turkers, you may have found that there are different conditions to which participants are assigned within the survey, so some people saw a slightly different version of the survey than others. Perhaps that's what you mean? But there's just one HIT, so only availability for one survey completion per person. Let me know if I'm misunderstanding.

    Don't worry. You were probably just assigned the control condition, which means you got a shortened version that didn't involve a lot of active writing. You'll still get paid the same amount.
