It's almost as if non-qualled work has huge data quality problems due to the fact that the people who run mturk probably have no idea what they're doing. Though I guess if we're going off what geos posted earlier, there's a data quality problem even on qualified work.

 

If everyone and their hamster has a closed qual it isn't really a closed qual and will have the same data problems.

Pros:
This was a compensation HIT for "Make predictions about political events $16. (~ 120 minutes)". I started working on that HIT but realized the HIT timer was running out, so I sent a message to the requester asking how I should proceed. I quickly received a response from the TurkPrime representative telling me I should just send them my completion code and they would create a compensation HIT for me, which is what happened.

This was my first time working on a SurveyComet prediction HIT, so I took a while on the first prediction to make sure I followed all the instructions. However, once I got the hang of it I was able to complete the predictions much more quickly.

As a first-time worker I had to fill out an extra survey at the end (regarding the usability of the platform). I expect future HITs in this series will take significantly less time to complete.
