oh mine didn't have hooks but I hope I still have it. was planning on going through my storage and spring cleaning tomorrow since its going to rain. I'll post a picture if I find it. It was extremely helpful because I actually did make a full real scarf but it would have been nice to have someone to ask questions. might have to bother y'all in the future if I find my supplies. Funny, I see my yarn from 15 years ago from where I'm sitting right now. maybe more sad that funny but organizing tomorrow (hopefully).

I even have a "stitch dictionary" that I just hold up to a mirror if I can't reverse it in my head. I have a really hard time following patterns so mostly I just make up my own stuff.

It's "The Crochet Answer Book" By Edie Eckman and has all the basics, stitches and techniques so you can learn to do stuff even if you can't follow patterns like me.

 

My vote is for a general "Hooker" badge that people can take out of context

I'm left handed too. Had a babysitter when I was little who taught me to knit, but I didn't keep up with it. Now none of my friends can teach me.

 

guys is it better to do herringbone pattern as knit or crochet? want to do a herringbone blanket after I finish the cable knit one I've been working on.
