The school's around here are using other software. But Tae Kwon Do and dance for my kids are both over zoom right now. And individual sessions are done over skype.

It's pretty bad, in reality how hard is it to just use microsoft for all that can be said about them their stuff is pretty secure in that regard.

 

Skype is worse software than facetime..

 

My son has a meeting at noon. I like that his school isn't relying heavily on the meetings but just using them to touch base every few days.

 

My friends kid is expected to be on live with his teachers every single day for 2 3 hour sessions, 1 in the morning and 1 after lunch, that seems excessive to me.

He goes to a school that is top 10 in the state so I think it has to do with perception.

 

Seems like it. We are given a lesson plan for the day on google classroom and it is up to the kids and parents to complete. The meeting times with the teacher are for questions and occasionally they will do a lesson together.

Good morning! I need to complain. Sorry.

So usually I'm outdoors every single day it's over 35. Thanks to...all of this *waves hands*, now my neighborhood and local park are crawling with filthy casuals who don't know the rules like: dogs ON the leash, bikes OFF the sidewalk, etc. Yesterday was the second time I've had a loose dog run at me and my dog but it stopped thankfully. The first time the dog did not stop and I had to hold both it and my dog away from each other until it's owner doddered up to me, obviously breaking social distancing rules and making me re-set my 2 week timer. Also yesterday, three different times people were using the sidewalks with their bikes AND dogs and using those 12 ft leads and seriously just rode at me so I had to walk way off the path in mud so we could get around each other. Also I keep finding used PPE gloves on the ground.
I just can't wait until everyone goes back inside.

A couple of days ago instead of meals, I had two bowls of Captain Crunch and 4 corn dogs throughout the day.

 

what happens if you just say no, hold school or don't, I don't want these people peering in my home. that's so bad for the kids to be taught that's somehow acceptable.
