Tax time. Mturk earnings are easy, because they give me a total for 2018 which is everything that paid out in 2018. I also have earnings from Upwork. Do anyone know if I can go by the date that I actually transferred money to my bank account for Upwork? Or does it need to be the dates that the clients paid, or the dates the money was available for transfer? I specifically delayed a big payment at the end of last year, by changing my auto-payouts from weekly to monthly temporarily, to try to reduce my tax burden for 2018. @Ana can you help?

No, it only takes a few minutes to do my taxes, I'm using a free website to do so, all I need to do is change a number. Actually I just found my answer and it says when the money was "available" which means I have to include it.

 

This is how MTurk calculates it for you I believe if I remember correctly from previous discussion & folks looking at their #s change last year.
