I hear you. That said (and I know everyone's situation is different), I also place a high value on spending time with my wife and daughter. My pattern is that I turk during the day, in between FT job responsibilities. I'm working anyway, so that's not taking time away from my family time. If it's evening and they're around, then my time with them is worth much more than the extra couple of dollars I might make. But I'm in a much different situation than most people - I have a full time job that pays well, and that gives me a lot more luxury in my time.

Bottom line - I keep going until I get to the point where I can choose to spend time with my family or I decide it's more worthwhile to spend time taking care of myself (which means reading a book for fun or engaging in a hobby), and then I quit.
