Sure. Next time you see me in public. But I don't look as much like him since I've taken a break from shaving my head...or shaving my face...or shaving my neck...or just any general basic personal upkeep.

And the usual approach was, "Excuse me, sir. I know this is a weird question, but could I take a picture with you? You look just like..." And at this point, if we even made it this far, I would cut them off and tell them it actually happens fairly often.

    Do you take requests?

Your voice sounds so much like my grandpa's when he was young - he worked on the railroad and used to always sing Johnny Cash's the "Wabash Cannon Ball" to us.

I learned how to play it on the piano for him when I was about 6 or 7 :)

Any chance you know that song?

I know it. give me a couple days and I'll see if I can get an arrangement I like, and see about a backing track. It needs the fiddle play.

Omg that would be amazing. Piano or guitar is the only way I've ever heard it live - but you're awesome to try.

I thought it was such an obscure song.
I think I still know all the words!

It's a popular number in bluegrass jam circles. Basically a timeless folk song that'll live on forever.

It also predates johnny cash by decades. One of those really old songs that people tend to put their own twist on

Duck bath over. Ducks are now named. Spaz because she/he* wont stop screaming or ever calm down and Ambien. Ambien when she got out the bath just laid in my arms and towel and fell asleep while the husband held Spaz. Spaz screamed, and screamed, and screamed and flapped and squeeked with some more flapping. After a sufficient towel dry then are now in their crate again drying off further.
*apparently aggressive spazzy behavior can be a drake thing so it might be a dude?

TBH I know the Roy Acuff version, I'm honestly not sure I know the JR Cash version.

I probably know it most from Flatt and Scruggs. It's in the scruggs songbook
