I am into way too many sports, including lots of ones I'm terrible at.

Golf can be made more fun by customizing some of the rules, though:

1) Don't count penalty strokes. You hit that ball 300 yards and you should be damn proud. Let's not focus on a minor detail like how it went straight into that barn on the other side of the street.

2) Balls are easier to hit off of tees. If you need to tee it up, go for it, hitting balls off of the fairway with a 3 wood is hard.

3) Missing a putt under 3 feet is infuriating. Solution? Don't take putts under 3 feet, that my friend, is a gimme.

4) Pencils have erasers. If you need to take a mulligan because you didn't make it past the ladies tees, you go for it buddy.
