Right, but then people think they can text back and that would be just one more thing I'd have to monitor at work. We already monitor our voice mail, our email, text messages through our software program for people who are tenants/owners/vendors, etc.

This is just the general public that wants me to text them forgetting most offices don't use cellphones as main phones (Also, they can go online and find all of this info, they just don't want to!)

Nope, no facebook.

It's almost always they call to ask me about a rental they saw advertised. I set up an appointment for them to see the rental. Then they ask me to text them the address or directions.

Um, they just saw the ad online. Every listing has a map. Now they want me to text it? Which I would text the address if our office phones could text.

I just cannot monitor one more "tech" thing with all that we already monitor (online maintenance requests, emails, online payments, phone calls, voice mails, our web page and craigslist listings...seems to be plenty!)
