They changed Abbys liver pills to chewables and I was breaking them in half and wrapping them in ham and she was eating them fine...for a week. Then I gave one to her wrapped in ham and she ate the ham and spit the pill out. She did this three times so i gave up and gave her the pill in the side of her mouth. I was in the store and happened to see some Neese's liver pudding and I hate liver but I know dogs like it so I broke the pill in half this morning and put it in a little liver pudding ball and did the same for the other half. I came in and woke Abby up for her pills and gave her one of the liver pudding balls. Boy, her eyes opened up wide and she shot right up and gobbled it down looking at me for more. I gave her the other ball and she accidently dropped it and picked it up quick and ate it. She even licked her bed where the ball fell. She looked at me for some more and I really wanted to give her some but I need for her to chew her pills so I didnt. I hope she continues to oeat her pills in these. Maybe i found her kryptonite because i have tried everything else

I took Abby to her monthly vet visit and arthritis shot last week and the doctor said she was losing a lot of muscle mass. She hasnt been exercising much and i cant walk her cause i can barely walk (any distance). I blame it also on the prescription food that doesnt have enough protein. So,..I am going to start giving her a boiled chicken breast with her dinner for protein and I found this service online called Rover.com where you can give it your location and dog size and it gives you the names of people that will walk dogs in your area. A lot of them are background checked and have passed tests related to pets so I picked out 2 and have interviews with them this week to pick one to hire and give Abby walks. It's going to be expensive so I will have to Turk really hard to make it up but it's worth it to keep Abby happy and in good shape, and ultimately alive.

lol it was my first rejection and it was on Friday the 13th which means it practically wasn't even my fault I left the hot key script on that I use for CIs and accidentally autosubmitted a hit that day >.>

 

I know a few people who walk dogs for Rover. They actually did have to do quite a bit to prove they were an animal person and knew a lot about dogs and dog breeds before being allowed to work for them. Good luck with the interviews, I'm sure you will find someone good!
