Sounds like they are trying to help their residents with options.

 

To me it's 50/50 but I'll tell you this, you'd likely get laughed at, at a bank if you told them you needed a business loan to pay rent.

 

Isn't the government taking care of unemployment? Sure there might be a delay but if you apply you will get it.

Am sappy and this has nothing to do with the discussion. But I was watching this

 

They don't seem very understanding. My rental company just stated they would try to help people who can't pay rent.

 

It is a great movie if you have not seen it

 

It's likely because they are a national company that has hundreds of houses in several cities.

 

And to be fair there is upside in renting from a national company, if anything fucks up they have it fixed in a day or 2, they never drop by for unannounced visits etc.

 

I'm not saying what any company is doing is right but this needs to be a huge wake up call to many people. No matter what you have to sacrifice try your best to have a couple of months rent/mortgage in the bank. In the end no company will truly care about you so it's up to you to safeguard yourself. Don't mean that in a dickish way just some very good advice.

 

Well yea unless we get some type of suspended rent, like a few other countries did they aren't gonna not expect the money.
